I'm Back, Motivated, and Better Than Ever

K-Pop male idols, please take this opportunity to prepare yourselves for what is about to happen.

Yours truly is back, folks. I've been slacking for way too long, neglecting my duty to all of you lovely readers around the globe to bring you sinfully delicious reading material about the idols we have become batshit obsessed over. The "Dark Ages," you could say, are over.

Now that the semester is over (Wednesday!) and it is summer, I have time on my hands when not at work. And I promise you all that it will be an amazing summer!

So it was really great timing that I stumbled upon this video by Simon and Martina at Eat Your Kimchi. I've been watching their videos for a while and I love them. I think they're absolutely hilarious and highly entertaining.

They're interacting with idols. Kevin freaking knows them.

SHE WAS BREATHING THE SAME AIR AS T.O.P. SHE WAS CONVERSING WITH G-DRAGON.

THE BATSHIT CRAZY FANGIRL INSIDE OF ME WANTS TO CALL HER A BITCH, BUT SHE REALLY ISN'T A BITCH I'M JUST BEING A JEALOUS GREEN MONSTER.

I am very happy for Simon and Martina to have such great success, but I also have to admit that it was like the K-Pop Gods shone down their golden light and screamed "WAKE THE FUCK UP, TKPA! YOU HAVE A JOB TO DO!" So that's what I'm doing. We've wondered before whether or not these idols know me, but damn it ... I'm going to make sure they do!

Then I remembered that 2PM has some boxers from me. Martina, you might have breathed the same air as T.O.P, but my URL is on Junho's ass. And that ass is splendid.

Check out lots of crazy and entertaining videos at http://www.eatyourkimchi.com/!

I'm baaack!

Apparently, This Blog is a Big Deal

Who would've thought?

All morning I've been trying to keep my cool and not freak out and hyperventilate or cry. And I kind of did a face-plant into failing miserably with that objective.

According to Bernie Cho, President of DFSB Kollective (you can read an interview with him here!), who was interviewed by Bloomberg (a really, really big name in the international business world), the top three K-Pop blogs or fansites that are in English generate more traffic than Korean music portals, based out of Korea that are written in Korean.

And who was the second blog that Bloomberg showed?

Photobucket

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!

And it isn't shown just once. Oh, no. Whoever pieced this article together must have loved this blog, because they decided to feature some of the GTOP love.

Photobucket

And then, right after this clip, you see a bunch of Korean girls all bundled up in the freezing cold and there they are. GTOP themselves at a press conference. AND THEN THEY ARE INTERVIEWED.

So, let's just roll with this, okay? Follow me on this train of thought ... if this blog generates that much traffic ... does that mean that these artists truly do read this because they want to know how they're portrayed outside of Korea?

I think this goes to show that there are a lot of perverted and sexually frustrated people across the world who listen to K-Pop.

Check out the video here! Skip to 10:40 to see the part all about Korean music! And make sure you watch the GTOP interview, as well!

Sparkling is Out!

Photobucket
This makes me ridiculously happy and I thank everyone who has ever read this blog for loving it (or hating it) and giving it attention, because this truly wouldn't have happened if it weren't for you!

If you're a new reader because of this magazine, then leave a comment below and say hi! Also, check out the older posts, and you're more than welcome to leave comments! That goes for all you old folks too!

If you live in the Philippines and haven't yet picked yourself up a copy of Sparkling magazine with 2PM on the cover ... well, what are you waiting for? It's an entire feature for K-Pop!

Thanks for everything :)

Mini Project for One Way!

I'm devising a mini-project for One Way that I will complete probably in the next two weeks or so, but I need your help!

If you've seen my tweets, you know I can bake. But I'm not just going to bake them cookies [from scratch] and send them in a freaking Tupperware container. So I'm pulling out my crafting skills and I will be restyling a cookie tin to personalize it for the One Way boys.

I've made some before, a few months back. These were plain tins from the craft store, added some paint, some designed card stock, and some sealer and there you go ...

Photobucket

But my idea for One Way is to get a large one (kind of like the circular one on the left) and paint it black, print out a one way street sign on some white card stock, adhere it to the top, and there you freaking go ... personalized just for our Twitter-addicts!

Here's my dilemma when it comes to the actual cookies ... Young Sky is vegan. I've never made vegan anything before. I'm really scared they're going to taste awful because I've never made them. So, it's a risk on my part, but I also have absolutely no idea what kind of cookies to make him! This is where I need your help. If you have any vegan recipes (there's bound to be at least one vegan following me) please email them to me ASAP!

I also don't really know what to make for Chance and Peter ... but I'm going to be safe and make chocolate chip cookies. Unless you happen to know their favorites, in which case, let me know! I was thinking of making some ANZAC biscuits for Peter to give him a little taste of Australia, but I couldn't find a recipe that was consistent.

Funding for this project is minimal, but if you'd like to make a small donation for shipping or you have any other ideas that we can also include, let me know! These tins are actually a lot of hard work and baking those vegan cookies will definitely be a pain in my ass, but I want to keep this really small and nothing big.

I've been waiting for the weather to get a bit cooler so the cookies will handle better during shipping, so the deadline for any donations or ideas will be November 1st. I want to have everything shipped out by the 6th.

(PS -- If you donate, I will include your twitter name along with the package so they will know you helped out)

Spread the word about finding me a vegan recipe! Thanks, guys!

Happy Blogiversary!

The blog is one year old today! Isn't that exciting? I know you're thrilled, who the hell wouldn't be? This is quite the long post, and even though I'm sick and feeling like garbage today and should be in bed sleeping this off, I just had to get on here and write this for you all.

First thing's first ...

Back in April, I created a list of goals that I wanted to achieve by this date. Only two goals were met (I suck).
1. 6,000 followers on Twitter did not happen. Five months ago I had a little over 2,000 followers, and now I have barely over 3,000. It took me seven months to gain 2,000, and only five months to gain 1,000 more. That's an accomplishment, so even though my goal wasn't met, I accomplished something.

2. 2,000 posts ... PSH! I knew from the get-go this ambitious goal was going to fail, and it did. Standing count (including this post) is 566.

3. However, I did have an idol tweet to me. Peter finally put aside his hatred for me and responded. (Kidding, he doesn't really hate me). You can relive that moment by clicking this link.

4. But no idol has tweeted to me about the blog yet. Partly my fault, because I haven't sent any of them links. BUT, they do know I exist. And that's the important part.

5. And 2PM received some lovely TKPA boxers with the site URL on them. You can relive that moment by clicking this link and then watching the video of Chansung holding Junho's boxers. Simply amazing!
I want to take moment to get all sentimental and thank all of you.

When I started this blog, it was because I was bored and had a lot of free time on my hands. I know it sounds cliche to say I never expected anyone to read it or for it to become as big as it has, but it's the truth. I truly never thought this blog would gain such a following, that I would become friends with people from all over the world. I never expected to have such an influence and such support.

We have done a lot of things together. T.O.P's birthday trending topic was a success. G-Dragon's solo concert trending topic was a success. Throwing boxers to 2PM was a success. Helping out for Super Junior's 4jib album was a success. Giving BIGBANG anniversary gifts was a major success. And most recently sending the petition to SBS was a success. Although we don't know the results of that, and I am not sure what the future brings with that situation, the fact that all fans from all fandoms put aside their biases for two minutes to spread the word and at least try to change the situation at hand, speaks volumes. The entire K-Pop fandom is one big family. Although we might not all get along nor support each other all the time, when it truly counts and matters, we're there for one another.

I have met some really awesome people over the past year, people I have connected with and became very good friends with. Of course, I've met a lot of people who have also disliked me, but I still want to thank them for at least coming onto the blog to read it before deciding they didn't like me.

So here is a little list of people that stick out in my brain among others. Remember, I love every single person who follows me on Twitter, comes onto the blog, reads the blog, leaves comments, email me, etc ... You're all so important to me and I greatly appreciate all of the love and support you give me. Just there are some people who have been there from the very beginning, and I need to give them the proper credit they deserve.

The K-Pop Junkie (@koreanpopjunkie), you've been MIA from the blog and my life because we've both been so busy. But you're the greatest friend I could ever ask for and I miss you a lot. We need to fix this current situation, so if you see me calling you, answer the phone! :)

CJ (@cjcdae), you and I quickly became friends and not only talked about K-Pop, but our "real life" situations as well. You really did help me a lot with an issue I had been dealing with, accepting me into the club. You have absolutely no idea what your friendship means to me and I will be forever grateful to you for all the things you've done for me. There is a reason you're my #1 Personal Blogstalker. I really have no idea what this blog would be like without your perversion influencing mine.

Mas (@Bunniness), you are the first person who ever contacted me on MSN messenger, I remember. And you're also one of the very first people to comment on everything that I posted. I miss talking to you and I hope everything is well in your life.

Jenny (@jennykoi_) Thank you for all of the emails and support you've given me over the past year. You are such a sweet, caring person, and I promise you when I come to the Philippines, I will be crashing at your place and I can annoy you in real life rather than through the internet.

Arick (@F2Arick) Not many guys would support their girlfriends in writing dirty about other men, but you always tell me you're so proud at everything I do on this blog and you encourage me to write more. I don't have to tell you here what you mean to me, because I tell you that every day. But thank you for never making me feel ashamed for writing this or getting too upset when I cross that line.

And a big thank you to: Asian Pop Addict, TwELFs, BBVIPForum, 21BANGS, Displaced Korean, K-Pop the World, SeoulROKs, ELOSOUL, fangirltainment, AA-CHAN, Music4urSoul, and many, many others who have helped me in some way, shape, or form in the past year.

Of course, thank you again for everyone who has read the blog, left comments, followed me on Twitter, emailed me, and shared your lives with me. I truly appreciate everything you have done for me and I hope that you let me repay you by entering the blog's contest for a $50 gift certificate to YesAsia. (Click here! The deadline is October 2nd!)

Now for the two big announcements I have had in store for a little while for you all ...

I know a while ago I created a little shop on Zazzle so you could buy shirts or whatever. Well, they contacted me saying I couldn't use peoples' names without copyrighted permission, so they deleted everything. I just reopened another store with Spreadshirt, and I thought I would share some of the designs with you:

Photobucket
"No Free Ride for Jay"

Photobucket
"Fair Trade Off"

Photobucket
"Piano Keys"

Photobucket
"Banana Trail"

You can check out all of the designs by going to

And now for the second announcement ...

You know how I have been hinting to my Filipino followers that I would be coming to them soon? Well, I am ... in the form of a magazine.

An upcoming magazine (published by Summit Media) will be featuring a one-shot special on everything K-Pop from the top idols, to the lifestyle, to the top blogs to read, and yours truly was interviewed for it. It should be released in mid-November, so only two more months!

Be sure to pick up a copy when it comes out!

I love all of you and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for everything we have experienced, good and bad, throughout the past year. Here's hoping to many more years together!

Thank you!

The Petition to SBS

Here is the letter, directions to send are below. Please read everything very carefully (read it three times, if you must).

To Whom It May Concern,

As a citizen of a foreign country, I am saddened to hear of the news that Seoul Broadcasting System will no longer allow their programs to be exposed on the global website, YouTube.  I thoroughly enjoy the programs you broadcast, from dramas to variety to music.  While it is understandable that SBS wants to protect their copyrighted programs, it also is highly unfair to a large overseas fan base.  Viewers from all continents search for your programs online, as this is the only way those who are not presently living in South Korea are able to enjoy what you have to offer.

You might be shocked to learn that there are thousands around the world who adore your programs, many of whom do not speak the Korean language. So many of us relate to the characters in dramas, we can feel every emotion the actors portray in such dramas like Oh My Lady and Coffee House. We love seeing clips of our favorite musicians opening their hearts to their fans on shows like Strong Heart and making us laugh to the point of tears on Star King.

Where will we watch such shows when you completely remove them from the internet? Please remember that, although you might not know quite how many of us there are outside your country's borders, we do exist. Please do not forget about us. We are your loyal viewers as well.

I request that the Seoul Broadcasting System create their own YouTube account, much like the entertainment companies YG Entertainment and SM Entertainment have done. On this account, you will be able to please your international fans by uploading episodes of the latest aired drama and variety shows. Not only will you please us, but you will also gain our respect and appreciation for listening and catering to our needs. A person should not have to be a Korean citizen in order to enjoy a program broadcasted by SBS.

On behalf of your international fans, we hope that you consider our request carefully and hear our voices. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
(First and LastName)
(Country)

Please READ ALL OF THIS BEFORE DOING ANYTHING! Follow the directions very carefully for this!

If you choose to send this letter via mail, copy and paste it into a blank word document (Microsoft Word, Works, whatever you have). Please type your first and last name along with your country. This is extremely important! When you paste the letter, it might look all jumbled. Please refer back to this post to check the format. There should be a space between each paragraph! Other than that, you do not need to edit or change anything in this letter (please don't).

Mail the letter to:

Mr. Yoon Se-young
SBS Broadcasting Center
920 Mok-dong
Seoul
158-051
South Korea

(This is the Chairman of SBS).

If you choose to send this letter via email, copy and paste it into the body of an email (no attachments). Please type your first and last name along with your country. This is extremely important! When you paste the letter, it might look all jumbled. Please refer back to this post to check the format. There should be a space between each paragraph! Other than that, you do not need to edit or change anything in this letter (please don't).

Email the letter to:

jycho@sbs.co.kr

(This is the man in charge of International Relations). The subject should be "Petition to SBS" or something along those lines. No "PLEASE READ" or anything, because I can guarantee you, he won't read it.

Please do this as quickly as possible and please pass this along to as many people as you can! Once you've sent it, let me know by leaving a comment or telling me on Twitter.

Quick Little Announcement

Since the new semester started on Monday and since I will be starting a new job some time next week, I need to take a quick little break from the blog just until I get my schedule worked out. I will be setting aside time specifically for the blog once everything is set in stone, that way there won't be repeats of long absences from me.

I just wanted to tell you all this so you're not emailing me or tweeting me that you miss me and asking when I will blog again. I'm not disappearing on you all, I promise! I'm always reachable by Twitter or email.

Be back soon!

Thanks!

My Letter to SB Accessories

As most of you know, I've had extreme difficulty with SB Accessories ever since I wanted to place an order for the sunglasses for T.O.P. It has now been twenty-six days since I ordered them and I have not received them in the mail, nor have I received any amount of feedback from them in regards to this situation.

With that being said, I wanted you all to read the letter I have sent them about this whole situation.

But ... after I posted this letter and sent it to them, and then tweeted them the link. They emailed me right away and said this:

What's your address
Please remove the letter as we have just revoke the statement in our legal firm

We will reship products today with tracking number plus a free item
And that's how you get things done, kids.

TKPA has Recruited Help

Yes, there will be a new writer here on the blog. I know I've been slacking in posting as much as I ought to (or would like to), and so the solution is to find someone who will help take over so you all don't feel abandoned.

And I'm pretty sure you all know CJ. If not, you'll get to know her very quickly and you will come to love her.

Until she makes her first post (she's learning all the technical stuff, because this stuff actually takes work), you can welcome her below or follow her on Twitter. She will also occasionally be on the TKPA Twitter account to tweet links and talk to you all.

There are still a few more posts to come tonight, so stick with me and comment!

Welcome CJ and thanks for helping out :)

Oh, Look! A New Layout!

There are a few things that are a little messed up with this new layout (like pictures being way too big and going into the sidebar).

But patience, grasshoppers ... it will all be fixed soon enough.

I'm also going to working on an easier way for you to go directly to all the posts on one group (Super Junior, BIGBANG, 2PM, etc...) rather than scrolling all the way to the bottom and trying to sort out the group in that mess of tags. See, I'm making your addiction to this blog a little easier!

Bare with me :)

(Oh, and you know ... feedback is also greatly appreciated).

If a Male Idol Were to Read This Blog Right Now

He would think I am insane.

With the upcoming events, I thought it'd be interesting to know what "fresh eyes" of the male, famous Korean perspective would be like. I've gone through three pages of this blog, a grand total of thirty posts, and came up with things that could potentially be disastrous for me, yet unmistakably hilarious to all of you, if one of our sexed-up men were to read this right now.

Here's what I have come up with, starting with the sidebar:

Photobucket
You think the term "Cervix Punchers" will attract some attention?

Photobucket
I mean, really ...

Photobucket
Oh, you know they will click. Why wouldn't they?
I'd want to know how "King of Foreplay" came into existence

Photobucket
"Hey, Ji Yong, there's this American girl who writes this blog.
She talks about you a lot on there."

As far as the posts go, I pulled one incredibly dirty/hilarious/creepy/WTF sentence from thirteen posts.

He'll be so upset and angry (think of when he ripped his shirt off and threw it to the ground. Yeaahh, I really want to provoke that reaction), he will get online, type in www.thekpopaddict.com and stalk the blog. (Read the full post!)
Dennis-the-Thai-Me-Up-Menace would give me exploding candy. (Read the full post!)
I mean, because if there are a lot of cocky, totally fuck-worthy Korean men out there, then we are all done for. (Read the full post!)
Only the top five will be posted on the right sidebar, like the holy list of men you want to have lots of unprotected sex with. (Read the full post!)
But that's why I am not focusing on your face and instead am looking at your naked torso with suspenders. (Read the full post!)
WHERE THE HELL DID HE LEARN HOW TO GIVE THAT LITTLE BITCHFACE-ARROGANT-COCKY EXPRESSION? (Read the full post!)
Dirty thoughts about that once cute little ... Fuck, fuck, fuck. (Read the full post!)
Let me start off by saying that I want all ten of them to take turns on a little spinning pedastal in the corner of my bedroom, lights shining all over their body. (Read the full post!)
Feeling like you should be attracted to it because it's G-Dragon and the man can do no wrong and everything he does exudes sex, but at the same time you shouldn't be attracted to it because he's a fucking murderer who gets off on stalking pretty girls through a maze and then stabbing them? (Read the full post!)
Really, I think the only way to end this post is to say that I hope T.O.P busts out the banana flavored lube and takes me into the bedroom to feed me some more of his banana. (Read the full post!)
Because I know I can easily get into your pants, GD. (Read the full post!)
He will tell you that the tip of his tongue will trace your bottom lip as you feel his hot breath hitting your mouth, making you want him. (Read the full post!)
And you know that you've thought to yourself time and time again that there is absolutely no way this man has never had a girlfriend, and that he just has to have some skanks on speed dial for a booty call. (Read the full post!)
Holy hell, am I done for ...

TKPA's Goals ... Yikes

Tomorrow makes the blog seven months old. Holy cow.

With that in mind, it's only going to be a short amount of time before the big one-year sneaks up on me, and well ... I have a few goals I want the blog to reach before September 23rd.

Goal #1 - I want 6,000 followers on Twitter. I know that is a huge stretch, considering I'm barely past 2,000 right now after seven months ... but still ... it is a goal. (So, uh, spread the word!)

Goal #2  - I want to have 2,000 posts. I'm only at 416 (including this post). I have some major work to do, I realize this. But I figure if I average about 325 posts a month, I will be okay. Meaning, I will be even more obnoxious. Sorry.

Goal #3 - I want one idol who is on Twitter to reply to me. THIS WAS ACHIEVED AUGUST 8, 2010!!!!

Goal #4 - I want one idol who is on Twitter to reply to me in regards to one of my blog posts.

Goal #5 - I want at least one idol to receive a pair of boxers with "TKPA" and the site URL printed on them. THIS WAS ACHEIVED JUNE 6, 2010!!!!

I am also thinking of doing a few more contests/give-aways between now and then, and then a really "big" one on September 23rd. I'm not sure exactly what I will do for that one, but I have a little time to come up with something.

So, do you think I can do it?

I sure as hell hope so.

A Few Announcements

Kind of tired repeating myself on some of these things, so let me get the "bitch" out for just a second here.

1. I don't know how many of you have actually taken the time to read the "disclaimer" on the sidebar, if you've even read it at all. So take a second to read it now. Embed it into your brain.
The Dreaded Disclaimer

This is not a gossip blog and it is not a news source. It is simply a place where fan girls who are "too old" to gush and fawn over these male idols in a PG way can express the adult thoughts we have.

A lot of the blog entries you will read are of a sexually-charged nature. Rest assured, it's all in good fun and I am not [completely] serious about any of it. With that, I do not talk about female idols. Sorry, I just don't.

95% of the things I write are a JOKE. I will no longer explain my sense of humor, because it takes all the fun out of everything. Either you get it or you don't.

I am a very nice person and I promise you that I will never criticize or mock you for voicing your opinion. As long as you respect me, respect those who comment, and most importantly as long as you respect the hardworking male idols, I will respect you.
2. Voting for Cervix Punchers is closed and will not reopen until May. Meaning don't post your picks on February's or November's posts, because by the time May comes around, I will not remember your picks. Just be patient.

3. BIGBANG Friday is not every Friday. It happens once a month.

4. What the hell happened to all the people who commented on the April Fool's post? All you new people who appeared out of the woodwork? Where are your comments now?

5. Meat Market is about the physical aspect of the idol. If he has great abs but a not-so-great face, then take that into consideration. It's the total package.

6. Do you honestly and really think I care about their hair? Not really. It's for entertaining purposes only. Will I stop listening to them because I don't like what they're wearing or what they look like? No, I am not shallow and for you to even make comments like "it's just hair" is stupid. I really don't care.

7. I write perverted things with profanity. As it says in the disclaimer, this blog is intended for those fans who are older. If you don't like the way I write, then don't read it. It is really that simple. I will not censor myself because you have a problem reading profanity.

8. You can email me any time. I mean that. Any time. If you want to tell me you love the blog, if you have pictures to share, you think I need to see a video, have a project you want me to help spread the word on, or you want to suggest I write about something you want to see on the blog. Seriously, anything. I've been slacking on replying back as of late, but that's changing now. Email: kpopaddict@live.com.

9. If you see me online, feel free to talk to me. MSN: kpopaddict@live.com, Y!M: koreanpopaddict@yahoo.com, AIM: thekpopaddict.

10. I love you. Thank you for reading. Thank you for commenting. Thank you for putting up with my insane tendencies. You all are amazing and I am grateful!

Spreading the Word About TKPA!

I put the word out yesterday that if you love me and the blog and wanted to be an awesome, faithful blog-stalker, then to email me. A few of you did, and for those who did you're awesome.

Those who didn't email me ... well, you have a chance to be awesome in the future. But for right now, you'll just have to kick yourself for not emailing me when you should have. Just kidding, don't really kick yourself.

I have ten people on board for this time around, but I will need more of you in the coming months, and I'm hoping that me writing this post and continually talking about it will get you all excited and willing to do it.

Basically, I'm asking you to "vandalize" things in your city with this:

It can be posted anywhere. Bulletin board at school, a random trash can, a kiosk, light pole, anywhere you think would be a good place for it, where you know people will see it. (Just don't put it on any public signs like a stop sign, because that's illegal and I don't want you all to get into trouble doing this. Maybe you should do it at night....). Or for those going to school you can place it on your notebook/binder/inside your locker (if you have one). You get the idea.

I will only send you five at the least, if you want more I will send more. But since I am asking you to take time out of your schedule, your life, and since you're doing something awesome on my behalf, I can't be greedy and demand that you stick ten stickers around town. Nope, five will be plenty.

The ten people who contacted me right away are going to be my first little batch of guinea pigs. I have Ohio, Florida, California, New York, Pennslyvania, Oklahoma, Indonesia, India, and maybe Canada. Right now that's totally plenty, but I do want more international readers (I know you're out there! Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, even South America ... I know you're reading this!) to participate in this!

I'm thinking quite possibly June or July for the second time around. If you are at all interested, then email me at tkpa@live.com and tell me! Include your name and where you live that way I know which city/country I'll have covered. I want to know how much I need to order the second time around, because if only twenty of you respond with interest, then I won't order so many. But if fifty of you express interest, then I'll have to make sure there's enough!

When it comes time for this to be done, I will email you back asking for a physical address for me to mail these to you.

There is absolutely one requirement, though. Something you MUST do if you participate. You absolutely must take a picture of one sticker that you placed somewhere and email it to me at tkpa@live.com. I will put all of the pictures I receive on the blog!

(If you're wondering, that is a completely new email address specifically created for this project!)

So, think it over. You have a while before committing fully. If you email me now and say you're interested for the second time around, I will email you back, thanking you and all of that, but I will also email you AGAIN when it gets closer to make sure that you're still on board or remind you in case you have forgotten.

If you love me and you love this blog as much as you say you do in your comments ... well, prove it.

Yes, definitely calling you all out.

Messages for Epik High, One Way, and BIGBANG

One of my awesome readers is going to be heading to Seoul next month and she's being generous and nice and offering to deliver messages to some idols on your behalf. Cindy is going to hand-deliver these messages to Epik High and One Way, and she is going to try like hell to stalk YGE's new building and deliver something to BIGBANG.

So, if you want to give your boys some lovin' yet don't feel like you have enough to write a letter but have more to say than a tweet would allow, what I'm going to do is post THREE separate blogs, one for each group. You can comment and say whatever you want, but keep it respectful and nothing TOO insane. I mean, don't go crazy on our boys.

Here's what I want you to include though: Your name (first only), age, country, and twitter URL (i.e. http://twitter.com/koreanpopaddict). If you have a personal blog or website or whatever else, you can also include that. I'm just asking that you leave out really personal information like phone numbers or email.

I will print out these pages, all your comments, and I will mail it to Cindy before she leaves for Seoul, so the deadline for all this will be April 1st. That gives me plenty of time to get everything together and send it to her.

Cindy is being awesome in also accepting actual letters that are more than just a few simple sentences. You can send her an email with your letter. Again, nothing crazy because she'll be making sure there aren't any "blood letters." Also, if you would like to give them something SMALL you can email her to ask for her address. Remember, she's traveling to Seoul from America, so she cannot carry anything too big or that will take up too much room. Ask her first if she thinks she'll be able to take it along with her.

You should all thank her via Twitter because she doesn't have to do anything remotely close to this. If you have any questions about what to comment to these boys, leave a comment below or email me and I'll answer as soon as I can. PLEASE TRY TO LIMIT YOUR MESSAGES TO ONE PER GROUP! Don't flood the comment section. Take your time and think about what you want to write before submitting it. Check your spelling and grammar, and if you're not sure then ask me and I'll be more than happy to help.

I'll continue to remind you of this, as well as have it placed in the upper corner of the sidebar so you will all see this upon returning to the blog.

Again, if you don't have A LOT to say, but you still want to say something, then drop a comment. If you have pages of thoughts and love, then email Cindy. If you want to send something SMALL, email Cindy and check first.

It should look like this:

Your message consisting of love and lust and adoration, no matter how long it might be. Maybe a paragraph or two. Maybe you're wishing them luck in the future, telling them why they're your favorite, blah blah blah ...

The K-Pop Addict, 21
United States
http://twitter.com/koreanpopaddict
http://www.thekpopaddict.com

That is generally what it should look like. Mainly because we want them to know they have fans of all ages, from all over the world. And who knows, if they see enough "twitter" URLs, maybe they'll be convinced to join (cough, BIGBANG, cough).

Keep it respectful.

MY FILIPINO READERS!

This post is for those of you LIVING in the Phillipines and for those of you who will be ATTENDING Super Show 2 on April 10! If you don't apply to either of those, but you know someone who does, then please pass this link along to them!

I need your help, my dear Filipino readers.

I said yesterday that there is a new rule:
Oh, and another announcement ... if you go to any K-Pop male idols' concert and have seats near the stage and are daring and brave, please inform me and I will immediately mail to you a pair of underwear with the site URL printed on it. Oh, yes ... it's time for these boys to know, love, and potentially hate The K-Pop Addict.

I really do mean that too. I'm not joking around. I'm one-hundred percent serious about this.

If you are going to Super Show 2 and are near the stage, close enough to throw it up there, and are brave enough to do it, then let me know by way of email immediately so I can get it out to you with plenty of time before the concert.

It will have the blog's NEW URL on it, because I think it's time for South Korea to know about me and the mass perversion I've caused.

I am dead serious about this. Hell, I will even send you more than one pair if you're going with friends who are also daring enough to throw underwear at Abmighty Shisus and receive the Holy Bitchface.

You should totally help me out on this. Why? Well, not only because I am awesome and you love me, but also because The Boyfriend is Filipino and one day we will have little quarter-Filipino babies running around. It practically makes us family .... ha, okay that was a lame excuse. You should do it because you love me.

If you aren't going but do have another concert for another male idol group coming up that you're going to, let me know about that too!

A Few Changes ...

Okay, okay! Before you bite my head off about how you don't like how the new layout is ... know that I have absolutely no legit reason for changing it other than the fact that I am bored and rest assured that I will get so sick of it by Monday that it will be back to how you love it.

BUT THERE IS SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT I MUST SHARE WITH YOU ALL!

I decided to make everything in this blog official now, meaning I'm trying to make it feel like a legit website rather than a blog where some crazy, rabid fan drools over these K-Pop boys ...

Which is why the blog has a new URL (www.thekpopaddict.com), rather than the koreanpopaddict.blogspot.com. Yep, I'm slowly progressing.

You can still access it from the .blogspot URL, but I just wanted an excuse to make a post, so yeah.

Please be nice when you tell me how much you hate the new way the site looks. Eventually, when I have time and lots of patience, I will redo everything and it will be amazing. I don't have time nor lots of patience so it might be awhile before that moment in time arrives!
