TKPJ Makes a Choice (Finally)

Hi! Remember me? I haven’t been around so much lately… sorry guys, but now I’m back! So I have had a problem for a while and I think I finally solved it. My problem is that two of my favorite guys in the K-Pop world are good Christians and neither can go into my baby daddy category….

I’m talking Taeyang and Siwon. Both are super hot and have bodies that can make girls go faint. To solve my problem I thought I could do a list of pros and cons, but of course I am too indecisive, you can ask TKPA. So that did not help. All the while I was thinking that both do not do sex before marriage and both really hadn’t had girlfriends. Here comes another problem…. I have a giant crush on another man! While I was listening to some music, one person’s voice really stuck out to me, who always really stands out and I can’t get enough of his sexy voice: Teddy.

Oh God, how he can rap a whole three lines in Tae’s song and totally steal my attention from Tae for the rest song. After listening to “Where U At” several times I decided that I can’t live without Teddy being somewhere on my list.

How do you think I will work out my dilemma?

Photobucket

Teddy is very attractive to me. He has the confidence that just shows through in his pictures. I like his body structure even though I have not seen anything that he is working underneath. Teddy is also very successful. He was in 1TYM and he now produces music. His voice is so sexy that if he just said one sentence to me I would do anything he wanted. Whenever his lends his voice in other artists music I stop and replay it over and over again. Just imagine him whispering dirty things in your ear in a crowded room that would drive you crazy until you attacked him as soon as you got into the parking garage or your car. Tearing clothes off without even thinking. MMMMhhhhmmmm!

Photobucket

I don’t even know where to begin with describing this cutie. He is cute and sweet. He has a hot body I would love to lick every inch of because it is rock hard. I can only imagine he would be the best husband ever because he would be the type of guy that would buy you flowers on the walk home or would go out and buy you your favorite, a caramel apple, because he knew you would love it and him. So with Tae I could see him being all shy until you get him behind closed doors and he has the room all lit with candles and the mood just right, of course after you say “I do.” I have no doubt there is a sex god waiting to explode out of him the moment he sees my lacey lingerie just waiting for him to touch. Oh yes I have plans for him if we get married. :)

Photobucket

Oh, Siwon is all I can think when I look at this man’s face. First off let me say that he has an awesome body and face, and he is TALL. Yes that four letter word means a lot because I like tall guys. I like to lean up to kiss them, stand on my tippy toes and just wait for them to scoop me up and lay one on me. I can see Siwon doing that. Although the bad thing about Siwon is he puts this cover up that he is a perfect gentleman, but he can give an intense bitch look which makes me feel he might not be future husband material. But can you imagine the hot angry sex after you did something to deserve that bitch look? Oh yeah, it would be hot, steamy, angry and passionate. There is a lot of power in that look.

I have put off choosing my future husband long enough. After a long thought I decided that Teddy should be on my Baby-Daddy-To-Be List because he is older and he can support our children. Also I think he would make a great father! I choose Siwon to Be My Boyfriend because I can see us being a fling of hot dirty sex that I will seduce him into. No one can resist my seducing powers once I release them! My Future Husband will be Tae because I think he would be the best husband in the world and plus I get to make hot, passionate love to him every day. How can I resist his gentle smile and the love in his eyes?

I think I always knew he was going to win over Siwon. It was just a matter of time.

First EVER TKPA Blog Contest

I mentioned last week via Twitter that I was thinking of holding a "contest." It took me a while to figure out just exactly what I wanted to do, but I have it all figured out.

Since this is a blog, and since I am a "writer," then it's only appropriate that the contest be about writing, right? I know that might make some of you nervous, but never you worry. It's solely based on how well you entertain myself and The K-Pop Junkie. I love creativity, you know that. And I love to laugh and have fun with you all. I think this will be incredibly fun for everyone.

What I Want You to Write About:

If you could spend a full twenty-four hours with any one (only one) male K-Pop idol, who would it be and what would you do?

Should You Keep It Clean or TKPA-Dirty?

Okay, I don't want to read smut. It can be dirty, if you wish, but try to leave some things to the imagination. It can be entirely clean, it can be dirty, or it can be a good mixture of both (highly recommend the last option as that'll entertain me more).

How Long Does This Have to Be?

About 500-700 words long. That might seem like a lot, but really, it isn't. I can write 500 words no problem once I get into the groove of my storytelling, and I always go over the word limit when writing papers. That's why I'm being nice and allowing an extra two hundred words. (By the way, I will be placing this in Microsoft Word and reading them, so I'll know if you go over or not!)

If English Isn't Exactly Your Native Language ...

Don't worry, I understand. Yes, I am a bit of a grammar freak. But, I am willing to overlook it for this. I'll just fix the grammar myself so it's easier for me to read. (No, really. I actually do that mentally).

When Do You Have to Finish This By?

You must EMAIL me by 11:59:59 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2009. That gives you five days to write something, leave it alone for a while, then go back to it and fix anything or add any new ideas that popped into your head. Really, it's plenty of time considering it's not that long of a "writing assignment."

So, What are the "Prizes?"

Considering that I have like zero access to anything remotely awesome and K-Pop related, the "prizes" aren't anything spectacular. I'm going to choose three winners.

Third place: Yay! You get your story posted on the blog!

Second place: Yay! You get your story posted on the blog AND you get to do a guest blog!

First place: Yay! You get your story posted on the blog, AND you get to do a guest blog AND you get this:

Photobucket

Photobucket

An insanely expensive scarf ($145) that is 100% cashmere and incredibly gorgeous and so soft it's almost freaking orgasmic. And it was ridiculously cheap for me because of my employee discount. Like ridiculously cheap. It's my Christmas gift to you. Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, I do so it's still a gift. If you're thinking, "I don't really need a scarf where I live." It's freaking cashmere. You can always use cashmere in your wardrobe.

The colors, if you're wondering, are navy blue at the ends and it fades into a bright blue in the center. (TKPA colors, anyone?). Seriously, it's gorgeous.

What Your Email Should Look Like:

Subject: TKPA Blog Contest

Body:

Write a few sentences about you. Meaning, where you're from and your name. Don't tell me your age, because I don't want to know. Make sure you tell me your Twitter name, as well. Oh, and if you want to flatter me or TKPJ, now is the time to do it. It will butter us up before we begin reading and we'll like you more.

Your story, however long it may be (but under 700 words, okay pumpkins?).

That's it. Simple.

DO NOT ATTACH THE FILE! Please copy and paste it into the body of the email, because sometimes Microsoft Word likes to be picky and not open certain documents. It's too much of a hassle to email you back and try to work something out on how you can resend it, so let's just bypass all of it and paste it in the body of the email, okay? Make everyone's lives easier.

Not entirely sure on when I'll be able to announce who wrote the best. It depends on how many of you actually do this. If you are chosen by myself and TKPJ, then I will email you back and tell you. If you won "first place," then I will need your address (not a crazy psycho, I will not stalk you).

If you have any questions, ask below in the comment section. I can't always respond right away, but I do read them right away and I will answer as soon as I can. So check back on this post regularly to see if I have answered them. I won't answer them on Twitter, because if someone else has the same question, I don't feel like repeating myself.

Thanks for reading, commenting, and talking to me on Twitter! You all are amazing! It's been a great two (and a half) months with you all so far!

Now get to work!!

Coming Soon: TKPA v. TKPJ

As I explained forever ago, The K-Pop Junkie and myself have something planned for you all by way of podcasting. In about a week and a half we'll finally bring this to you. At least, I hope we'll be able to. There are still a few little kinks we need to work out and a few things up in the air, but even if we can't do it within the next two weeks, it will happen before the end of the year. And you know, that's only like a month and a half. You've waited much, much longer for your favorite idol boys! You can wait for us too, damn it!

Not saying you love us more or as much as your idols, but we know we're pretty close.

Yeeaaahhh ...

Anyway, we already know two main things we're going to talk about. First being Ninja Assassin, because the plan is to do this immediately after seeing the movie at midnight. Yes, it will be three in the morning and we're going to be running off of Rain and Sex Apprentice adrenaline and we'll be tired and a tired TKPA and TKPJ always equals hilarity.

Another thing that we're going to be ... um, discussing, is Super Junior. We've decided the whole Arms of Sex (Donghae) situation in regards to the who is going to have him as a baby daddy. But we still have one pressing issue to argue about ... who gets the Dirrrty Geek, otherwise known as Kyuhyun. Telling you now, Junkie ... back off. He's mine and you can't have him.

It's already starting.

But in order to refrain from us rambling on and on about non K-Pop related things, because we tend to do that a lot, I really would like if you guys help keep us on track by sending in some suggestions on what you want us to talk about. If you've read our tweets to each other, you know that we're pretty much insane and we don't necessarily see eye-to-eye on a lot of things. Especially when it comes to who Dirrrty Geek belongs to (me, by the way).

It can be anything. You can even ask us questions. From random ones like, "What's your favorite zoo animal?" to K-Pop ones like, "If you could hug any male idol, who would it be?" (Story time: TKPJ has actually asked someone what their favorite zoo animal was to break the awkward tension. It was hilarious and I am so glad I was there to witness it).

Note: To show you what kind of questions we're looking for, take a look at what @nengvaleska sent in. "If both of you have the chance to throw a bra to only one of your favorite K-Pop idols, who will be the lucky guy?" This is what we're looking for. Random, funny, totally off the wall questions.

You know I am always trying to get you all to participate in this blog in some way or another. Whether it's by helping me out with BIGBANG Friday (which not enough of you have!) or spreading the trending topic love. And really, I'm asking you all to send us suggestions to spare you from our obnoxiousness. Because we are very annoying and if you don't help keep us on track, we might just whip out our British accents. Well, I might. TKPJ will whip out her Irish/Scottish/Australian accent.

It isn't pretty, folks.

You can email me your thoughts/questions/suggestions. Please put "TKPA/TKPJ" in the subject line, so I can put it in a special folder created just for this! If you send them to me on Twitter, I'll just tell you to email it to me. Try to have them emailed to me by November 23, please! Oh and if you haven't already done so, follow TKPJ on her Twitter.

Seriously, if not enough of you email me with anything, then we'll be forced to talk in a British accent for a solid fifteen minutes to punish you. Please do not make us do that. It might sound humorous and you might be tempted not to send us anything, but please trust me when I say we will offend all of the United Kingdom with our accents.

Thank youuuu, lovelies!

We're Going to Switch It Up a Bit ... Soon

This isn't going to happen any time soon, but trust me it will happen.

I have a message for you all explaining what The K-Pop Junkie and I have in store for you. I don't think there are any problems with this site and with being able to listen to it, but if there is, please let me know so I can work on another solution!

Hello, Joon's Abs

MBLAQ appeared on MNET last night for their official debut. I am incredibly, incredibly excited about these boys and I truly hope they don't fail miserably.

After the post in which I said that SeungHo vaguely resembled Kyuhyun, I told The K-Pop Junkie in the comment section that I just might place him in the Back-Up Boy category. However his chances of making it have been dented, seeing as how he's blonde now.

Blonde.

It's not like former Kyu blonde from the "Don't Don" days, it's more like dirty golden blonde ... but still, he was looking phenomenal with black hair. And if something isn't broke, don't fix it!

The good news about their debut performance is that the lovely Joon showed off his abs for me. He must have stumbled across the first-ever MBLAQ post in which I desperately wanted to know his name while marveling over the washboard body. And since he's a newbie to the K-Pop scene, he's definitely eager to please, so of course he lifted up his shirt and slithered his body in a slow, incredibly erotic way.

Photobucket
Thank you, bb.

I don't know which category I'm going to place you in yet, Joon, but rest assured you will be in one.

Sharing Is NOT Caring When It Comes to SBT and Sex God

I sent The K-Pop Junkie the video to Taeyang's new single (which I'll dedicate time tomorrow to writing about/going bat-shit crazy over), and a not-so-lovely conversation followed shortly after (warning: lots of caps-lock and cyber yelling).

Junkie: I love his oversized hats.
Addict: It isn't oversized, he's just short.

Okay, totally sorry for that comment (please don't stalk me and kill me) but I had to say it.

Addict: You know what would've made it better, right?
Junkie: IF HE HAD NO SHIRT ON??
Addict: YESSSSSSSS. Next single isn't coming out for another month and it's a slow song, I believe. No abs.
Junkie: Hey he could be making out with someone in a bed in a slow song... think about it. Moaning could happen as well!
Addict: NO TAE-TAE SHOULD NOT MAKE OUT WITH SOMEONE IN HIS NEXT VIDEO. WTF ARE YOU THINKINGGGG.
Junkie: HEY!!!! I would just replace my face with her!
Addict: & Tae-Tae's moans, while they might be nice, Sex God T.O.P. has the best.
Junkie: HAVE YOU HEARD HIM MOAN? HE COULD BEAT TOP! YOU NEVER KNOW!
Addict: BLASPHEMY!!!!!!
Junkie: HEY DONT SAY THAT UNTIL YOU HEARD IT! I BET HE HAS A GREAT MOAN TO MATCH THOSE KILLER DANCE MOVES/SEX MOVES
Addict: BUT WE'LL NEVER KNOW BECAUSE HE'S A GOOD BOY AND HE ISN'T GOING TO MOAN FOR RABID FAN GIRLS
Junkie: MAYBE NOT. BUT IF I MEET HIM AND HOOKUP/MAKE HIM MY BABY'S DADDY I WILL HEAR IT AND SAY IT BEATS IT!
Addict: BUT YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT SEX GOD'S ACTUAL SEX MOAN SOUNDS LIKE, SO HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT???
Junkie: HOW CAN YOU PROVE THAT HIS IS BETTER?
Addict: We'll just have to have a tape recorder in the bedroom.

The Junkie also said that we were going to share Sex God. Complete news to me, seeing as how he is mine and she can't touch him. Her reasoning was because I already claimed G-Dragon and since she is very territorial over Tae-Tae, that we should share Sex God because it's unfair that I have two BIGBANG members and she does not. I told her to take Seungri and she said that neither he nor Daesung did it for her.

No, she cannot have Sex God. No, I will not share him with her. What the hell kind of drugs is she on to think that I would actually consent to such insanity?

And then ... then the conversation resorted to the sharing of Sexy Beast Taek ...

OH. HELL. NAW.

BACK. OFF.

I will not give up that beast-wrapped-in-dork package for ANYTHING. Especially for someone who didn't find him attractive when I first sent her his picture. She liked Chansung. She said SBT had big ears. True, but she dismissed him immediately. WTF? You don't do that, not with a gorgeous, savage animal like SBT! You clearly do not deserve him, Junkie, as you cannot appreciate the radiating sex factor.

This argument literally lasted for an hour. Neither of us would give in on the situation at hand, it was like the Cold War. We finally concluded, though, that she will place Sex God in her Strictly a Dirty, Dirty Fantasy and I will live with that. As long as she is thinking and not touching.

However, neither of us will stop fighting over SBT so the Cold K-Pop War will continue until a treaty and compromise has been reached ... which will be never.

Back off, Junkie. He's mine.

The Fantasically Weird Yesung

Who goes out and buys himself a turtle because he's bored? It can only be Yesung.

Photobucket

Oh, Yesung. Where do I even begin with you?

You're so bizarre, bb. Bizarre isn't even a suitable adjective to describe you. I mean, a turtle? Really? What can you do with a turtle? Once The K-Pop Junkie and I wanted to purchase some hermit crabs and keep them in the living room in our apartment. Then we realized, "What the hell are we going to do with hermit crabs?"

There is more to you than unusual quirks, like spastic dancing, touching people's upper lips, and sneaking up behind people like an assassin (all featured in Come to Play). Your voice is pure love and -- seriously, I'm not remotely kidding on this -- I listen to "Let's Not" every single night right before falling asleep. You, Kyuhyun, and the pocket-sized-cutie Ryeowook have incredible voices and I cannot listen to any ballad by any other idol group. You've spoiled me rotten.

Here's to you and your one-of-a-kind personality and amazing voice. Keep it up, boo.

Kwon Ji-Yong, Why Do You Do This to Me?

Every time I turn around, I either love you or hate you. And you make it incredibly hard to constantly defend my love for you against The K-Pop Junkie, who is going to have a freaking field-day in the comment section when she sees this.

Photobucket
This is all sorts of epic fail, boo.

I mean, what the hell is going on up there on top of your head? Sort it out, lovely. I will admit that the whole angry-face, massively-square-jaw-that-makes-me-want-to-drool thing you have going on is freaking hot as hell. I presume it looks incredibly similar to what your sex face looks like ... but I cannot get past the hair. I just can't.

WHY DO YOU MAKE IT SO HARD FOR ME TO LOVE YOU?

You need to stumble across this blog and hire me to be your stylist, ASAP. And also as your future baby mama.

Reason #2 Why I Love Super Junior: Their Engrish

It was like music to my ears when fate pointed me in the direction of "Marry U" and I heard Leeteuk sing, in perfect English, "Would you marry me?"

I know the four basic, need-to-know-if-you're-traveling Korean phrases. "Hello," "Thank you," "Do you speak English?" and "I love you." Okay, so maybe that last one isn't extremely important if you're going to travel, but you never know if you'll stumble upon the love of your life who speaks broken English and your Korean is highly laughable. So, I know how to say "I love you," and Teuk knows how to propose.

There is no need for any other talking.

Pretty much I’ll be talking about this particular video, with an exception of a few extra links posted at the end for some giggles.

The boys have had a rough road when it came to learning English. Thankfully, because they are such fame whores, their lessons were documented in the form of Full House, thus making my life one bit closer to becoming complete. This is where they learned the one phrase that makes me giddy and blush like a tween girl: "You are so gorgeous."

Bless you, English teacher man. You taught the boys an extremely valuable compliment that they have used time and time again.

I will admit (even if The K-Pop Junkie wants to massacre me and feed me to the wolves for saying this), Siwon’s attempt at it is the best amongst the boys (4:00). Heechul is an extremely close second, though, mainly because after he tells blonde-curly-wig-wearing-Kangin he is gorgeous, Korea’s #1 Handsome Guy shuts Super Junior’s resident fame whore down with, "I don’t easy." Not a slut-bag hoe, basically (4:27). And Heechul … my, oh my. Is there anything more bizarre than seeing an Asian man incorporate "hip hop" slang into his English vocabulary? Seriously, it’s freaking hilarious and all, but a part of me just wants to die slightly whenever the pretty boy busts out with, "Yo man!"

I also love you, English teacher man, wherever you are, for teaching the boys how to say, "Obey me." Thank you infinite amounts.

Super Junior loves loves LOVES to incorporate English into their songs. For instance, in "She Wants It," a barely audible member (still can’t figure out who for the life of me) says, in the most creepily fantastic way possible, "Where you goin’ sweetie?" (0:28). Not to mention Eunhyuk saying “bling bling” in his rap bit in the same song, which is utterly amazing and still has me laughing obnoxious amounts over it.

"Endless Moment" is a song that doesn’t really have random LOLtastic phrases woven into the lyrics, but the boys do sing, "My endress moment." YES. Amazing.

Also, in the new Korean version of Super Junior-M’s "Super Girl" (which is absolutely RIDDLED with Engrish, which makes it billions times better than the Chinese version) someone so graciously pointed out to me that Donghae says, "He’s not shupaman, he must be mama boy." Oh, Hae. Love you, boo.

G-Dragon Owns Me

No matter what, I just can't quit you, Kwon Ji-Yong. You are my daily dose of nicotine.

Man, I sound like a really cheesy version of Stephenie Meyer.

In truth, though, no matter how many times I profess my hatred for him and his songs that plant teeny seeds inside my brain and explode at the most random moments like a microscopic bomb … I still love him. When I finally admitted my love for him, I said that he was more than likely going to be the only man on the BIGBANG baby daddy list.

T.O.P. must have read that and decided that he wanted to be the only man on that list, because out of nowhere he appeared full force and made me actually say, “G-Dragon who?” I know. Completely shocking. I actually didn’t listen to any of GD’s songs for about a day, and they weren’t even stuck in my head. Again, completely shocking.

T.O.P. dominated me.

Yes, I purposely left that as a one sentence paragraph to emphasize the point and to conjure up a dirty image. Because who wouldn’t want to be dominated by T.O.P.? I even called The K-Pop Junkie and said, “I want his baby.” Yes, he utterly demolished GD’s chance on the baby-daddy-to-be list.

But Ji-Yong ... you just couldn’t accept that, could you? After stumbling across this website, in which these awesome people translate GD’s me2day (Korean equivalent to Twitter) updates, and seeing how amazingly adorable his Shar Pei, GaHo, is and how daddy-like and heart-wrenchingly-adorable (7:30) he is around GaHo … oh, yes, GD is back in the game.

T.O.P. who?

Photobucket
You're so fantastically cocky. You just know you own me, don't you?

Taeyang, will you please just release your single already, so I can finally compose the BIGBANG baby daddy list and just be done with all this? My sanity is at stake, lovely.

My K-Pop Strike Didn't See the Light of Day

Yesterday, I sent a text message to The K-Pop Junkie, telling her that I was going to go on personal strike against K-Pop, seeing as how I'm supposed to be overcoming my addiction. This is how that conversation went down:

Addict: Tomorrow I am going on strike.
Junkie: Oh? Like I will not listen to K-Pop?
Addict: Yes, I mean it this time.
Junkie: Really???!!!!! Why?

Addict: 1. I feel like I am cheating on all of Super Junior. 2. They are all just way too hot for me to handle.
Junkie: Well, we shall see how long you last!
Addict: Yes, we shall.

And here is today's conversation via text message:

Addict: Does WATCHING vids count in the strike, or just listening?
Junkie: If you see them it doesn't count!
Addict: Just listening to the songs breaks the strike?
Junkie: Yes! Anything K-Pop breaks it.
Addict: But vids are K-Pop?
Junkie: Yes, duh.
Addict: So I can't watch T.O.P. moan? At all?
Junkie: No, you can't, but I can because I haven't watched it yet.
Addict: Screw that. I'll start the strike another day.

My plan to go on a K-Pop strike: FAILED MISERABLY. (Just like my resistance to G-Dragon).

Addict v. Junkie: The Kim Heechul Debate

The K-Pop Addict - FOR

Why do I love Kim Heechul? It isn’t because of his porcelain, clear-as-crystal skin that is only obtainable through Photoshop, that’s for damn sure.

Heechul is hands down the biggest attention-whore in Super Junior. Even the die-hard ELFs cannot deny that fact. God created Heechul and put him on this Earth for a sole purpose: to entertain the masses. Whenever he is in front of a camera, he switches into make-the-audience-laugh-hysterically mode. And even though he gives off a nonchalant, uncaring attitude about pretty much anything that doesn’t directly involve him, this boy busts his ass with his jam-packed schedules. A hard worker is always admirable.

I love his eccentric personality. The fact that he made the members audition for who would participate in the Super Junior cover of “Gee,” is laughable in its very own right. How the hell he convinced these guys to go on stage in front of thousands of sexually frustrated teenage girls is beyond me, but anyone who can get Kangin to cross dress deserves major kudos. The master of imitation, Heechul probably spends hours standing in front of the mirror, perfecting his unique gift. While there he probably admires how man-gorgeous he is, but that’s a topic for the opposition, not the pro.

Honestly, Super Junior would be dull without Heechul, as he is truly one of a kind. Sure, he gives off a bit of a douche vibe every now and then, but his heart is pure gold, which is the only thing that matters. I platonically love this man and I have fully embraced the zaniness that comes wrapped in a too-pretty-for-words, almost-androgynous package.

Photobucket
You either love him or hate him.

The K-Pop Junkie - AGAINST

Okay, where do I begin?

First off, he is way way WAY too pretty/feminine looking. He makes me look like an ogre. I mean, could anyone compare to him when he puts on women dresses and when he has long hair? He completely would look better than any girl at prom. That is just depressing. He is called a flower for a reason.

Second, he is a complete douche in one of the videos I watched of the boys. He was just so rude and mean. He talked about how if a girl he is meeting up with is late he will just leave and not feel bad about it. I mean sometimes people are late with good reason. (I am always early for everything). What if he did that to you and you were stuck on the middle of the highway with a flat tire and no cell phone? SO RUDE! Plus, I bet he takes longer to get ready then most girls do and he is late all the time. Bet you! Then if he tells a girl what he wants them to wear and they don’t wear it he is mad at them. It is called freedom and we aren’t in the thirteenth century and ruled by men anymore.

Thirdly, The K-Pop Addict informed me how he handled his first kiss. He wiped it off so he could continue watching the Lion King. I mean I love the Lion King but if a guy wanted to kiss me, I would be all over that and rewind the movie. For real.

No offense to the petals out there, this is just my opinion, because he can be funny sometimes.

What are your thoughts on Heechul? Love him? Hate him? Come debate with us!
*Note: Seeing as how this debate became extremely heated between The K-Pop Junkie and myself, the two of us will refrain from posting under this topic, as it is still a completely sore spot between us and because we cannot shake off the ridiculously bizarre threats made. You, however, may comment all you like. I'll still answer you.*

Baby-Daddy-To-Be List: 2PM Edition

Although there are six of them, I had a relatively easy time picking which ones I’d have a baby out of wedlock with. If Jaebeom was still an active member in the group, he would throw a monkey wrench into the whole situation. Thankfully (in this case only) he is not in the group, so the decision has been narrowed down to two men.

First up is the delicious Taekyeon (or Taecyeon as it is also spelled, but I tend to gravitate towards names involving a "k" in the spelling), or as I like to refer to him as the Korean Cristiano Ronaldo. (They have the same teeth and inability to keep their mouths closed at all times).

Photobucket
I love it when he says, "Somebody hurry and please tie me up somewhere."
Will do, bb. Will do.

At six-foot, Taekyeon leaves me speechless during his rap of "Again and Again." As The K-Pop Junkie said last week, "His voice is like sex." Yes, yes it is.

Reasons why Taekyeon has made the Baby-Daddy-To-Be List:
  1. He’s six foot. That is in no way a stereotypical remark toward Asians as a whole and their "lack of height," but I do actually like tall guys. I’m average height (5'5"), but having a baby daddy with some height will somewhat guarantee a tall-ish baby. There are a few tall genes tucked away in my DNA strand (one of my great-grandfathers was 6'4"), so there very well could be a Korean Yao Ming on our hands down the road. Is it just me, or does he also look exceptionally taller than the others in "Again and Again" video?
  2. Even though he was born in Seoul, he moved to Massachusetts for seven years with his family. Thus, this is one Korean who speaks fluent English, and that automatically gives him bonus points in my book. Although I do enjoy broken English with a heavy Asian accent, it’d be much easier on the bastard-baby-in-question if both parents spoke fluent English.
  3. He has a ridiculously goofy personality that I don’t think I’d ever get tired of. He seems like a big kid who wants to play all the time. I just want to hug him endlessly, and then strip his clothes off with my teeth. I don’t think he’ll mind too much, even if I am what he describes as a rabid fan.

The other member of 2PM that I want to become my baby daddy is Nichkhun.

Photobucket
I love you. Infinite, infinite amounts.

The K-Pop Junkie always says, “He has weird eyebrows.” She’s right; he does have weird eyebrows. But that doesn’t detract me from his face.
  1. Khun was born in California, making him an American citizen, and he is of Thai and Chinese descent. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to know he’s an American by birth, because we can completely bypass the hassle of trying to get him a green card to live and work in the States. And since he lived in the States for a portion of his life, he, like Taekyeon, also speaks English rather well. I cannot stress enough how much of a bonus that is, something that none of the Super Junior members that made the list can claim.
  2. He is a complete natural when it comes to being on television, and his comedic timing is impeccable. This clip from Star King (undeniably the funniest show I have ever seen) had me chuckling. [Unfortunately it isn’t subbed, but you don’t have to speak Korean to figure out what’s going on—I’ll tell you anyway, because I’m a nice person! The setup is that Khun has to get ready and eat breakfast in under three minutes, and he chooses to come home “the night before” drunk].
  3. He is a fierce dancer, and I swear if he were to ever dance with me like this, conception will immediately follow. (Also featured in this video is Sungmin from Super Junior, whose dance moves are equally impressive).

WAY TOO CLOSE FOR MY COMFORT!
Tell me, which members from 2PM make your cut as potential baby daddy? (For the hell of it, Jay will be accepted).

The K-Pop JUNKIE Makes Her Debut: "Oh, Siwon."

Like any good college student, I am procrastinating doing my homework by writing this for The K-Pop Addict. By good fortune, I was assigned to live with The K-Pop Addict last year. We became pretty darn good friends by the end of the year. It wasn’t until over the summer that she became a K-Pop junkie turned addict. At first when she sent me the videos of Super Junior, I thought, "What is wrong with you?" Well, really, I was like, These are catchy! I soon became a junkie pretty fast.

As I sit here, writing this and listening to their music, I think about what first turned me on to Super Junior? I think it was when I went to visit The K-Pop Addict for the weekend over the summer at her house, where she quizzed me on who was who. I started to tell them apart and learned all about them as individuals. That is when I first decided that I really did like their music and I did enjoy all of the random shows subbed in English. That weekend was the breaking point. (Oh, and since then, I've tried to master the dance moves to all of their songs. Pretty hard, I must say).

Now that I have filled you in on whom I am (interesting, right?), I will tell you why I love Siwon. Siwon at first stuck out to me because of his nice face, which I now describe as handsome; with his smokin' eyes that could make me do anything when directed at me (this I know will happen if I ever meet him). But as I looked him up, I saw that he has a kick ass body due to that black belt of his. His abs look amazing and I swear he has some extra muscles in there somewhere. I mean, look at his arm muscles! How many Koreans have that definition? He would be perfect to cuddle with when he wraps his strong arms around you!

Oh, and did I mention that with his hot body he is SIX FOOT! Yes, he is super in shape, too hot I can’t stand it, and he is a giant. Ahhh, what is there not to like? (Besides the fear that he won’t do the dirty deed before marriage. I guess I can wait, since he is my future husband).

Besides the physical part of his awesomeness, he is a sweetie and is really good with kids. He doesn’t live with the other members of Super Junior because he would rather spend the time off with his family. Which I think is super adorable. Also, children love him and who can blame them? All of this adds up to him being a great dad and a family man. Oh yeah, pretty much perfect! But don’t try to steal his soda, unless there is a camera around …..

Siwon, why can’t you live in the U.S.A.?

Yours,

The K-Pop Junkie

Super Junior-M's "Super Girl": Chinese v. Korean

I wanted to go to sleep an hour and a half ago, but here's the thing about me ... I don't sleep.

Literally about an hour ago, The K-Pop Junkie mentioned how I should include Super Junior-M's "Super Girl" to the playlist (featured on the right sidebar). I said, "But it's Chinese, not Korean." Thus, there would be no point in putting it on here, even if it is by a subgroup of the largest boyband in the world, Super Junior.

I was on Twitter when I saw from multiple people that SJ-M has now released the Korean version of "Super Girl." I became super excited and rushed to play it ... only to find that I actually like the Chinese version better. It's still a fantastic song in any language, but because I've heard it so much in Chinese, it just sounds weird.

But then I listened to it again. And I am now in love with it. Again. I'd show proper enthusiasm about it, but I'm starting to feel the sleep creep up on me and it's becoming nearly impossible to keep my eyes open. So, I'll just cut to the chase and keep this short.

Here's the Korean version. (Watch in HQ for the ultimate sexiness of Donghae, Kyuhyun, Siwon, Ryeowook, Han Geng, Henry, and the cross between Leeteuk and Siwon, Zhou Mi). And here is the Chinese version. (Also watch in HQ).

I know that The K-Pop Junkie is going to go bat-shit crazy over this, seeing as how her Baby-Daddy-To-Be list includes Siwon, Hae, Kyun, and Han Geng.

Yours,

The K-Pop Addict

Step One: Admitting My Problem

I know exactly when it happened. It was May 9, 2009.

I logged onto my computer that afternoon, checking my usual websites [Facebook, Twitter, Myspace (which is rarely ever used), Kickette, DailyMail (why I choose to read British mags is another topic entirely), and of course, Perez Hilton]. It was on Perez that I first saw the video that has forever changed my life. I normally skip over the music videos he posts, but something deep within me said to give it a chance. Maybe it was the fact that the screencap of the video showed a lot of handsomely dressed Korean men, or maybe it was out of sheer boredom that I decided to watch it.

Either way, I fell in love.

If you've ever heard Korean pop, you can't deny that the beats are catchy. Sure, I don't know what they're saying 95% of the song (5% of it has broken English phrases incorporated into the lyrics), but it still makes me want to get out of my chair and DANCE, DANCE, DANCE. In the months following that fateful day, my tastes in K-pop have branched out a teeny bit. I used to subject my ears to nothing but one group, over and over, song after song, until I could sing the songs in Korean. And I can sing them in Korean.

And the one group I am referring to -- the group that I obsess over on a daily basis and that I swear I will marry at least one of these boys -- is none other than the amazing, talented, hilarious, and absolutely man-gorgeous, Super Junior.

From left to right: Shindong, Donghae, Yesung, Kangin (hat), Sungmin, Kyuhyun,
Kibum (top), Hankyung, Heechul, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, Siwon, Leeteuk

Yes, there are thirteen of them. Yes, I know all of their names. And no, actually, none of them look similar. Let me just tell you, I am in love with these boys. I have over thirty of their songs that I repeatedly play on my iTunes, their entire 3rd album (which is absolutely incredible in every single way), and yes, there is even a poster (the above picture, actually) on my wall. I will have one of their babies, but that's something I'll hash out another day. And there will be plenty of posts as to why I love Super Junior, so I won't begin to explain it at the moment, but trust ... there are a lot of reasons.

Suggested Super Junior songs: "It's You," "Reset," "She Wants It," and "Let's Not."

Another K-pop boy band/idol group I currently have a fascination with is 2PM. I will admit that Super Junior can be a bit too ... feminine at times. But the (now six) boys of 2PM are anything but that. I say now six because the "leader" of the group has now left for an entirely-much-too-complicated-reason-for-me-to-even-get-into. (If you're curious, type "2PM Jaebeom" into any search engine, and you'll soon find your answers, as well as get a delicious eye full of [seriously] some of the hottest, muscular Korean men alive).

Back row: Chansung, Junsu, Wooyoung, Taekyeon
Front row: Junho, Jaebeom (departed), Nichkhun

I have a deep, deep crush on these boys. Their choreography is sick, their music is extremely addicting, and they aren't bad to look at, either. Which isn't always the most important thing, but it's a nice factor to include into the equation. I am very sad that Park Jaebeom has left the group, because the guy has a KILLER voice and he just oozes sex. And yes, that is an eight pack. I will miss not seeing him involved with 2PM, but on the plus side (as every dark cloud has a silver lining) this boy is: 1. American, 2. Back in Seattle. Which means that there is only the continental U.S. stopping me from stalking him, rather than the continental U.S. and the Pacific Ocean. (I kid, I kid. I'm too broke to go stalking Korean idols, and if I did have money, I'd be stalking any one of the Super Junior members or 2PM's Taekyeon).
Suggested 2PM songs: "Again and Again," and "10 Out of 10."
The other group that is somewhat involved with 2PM is 2AM. Catchy, huh? I have to admit, I haven't actually listened to any of their songs (yet), but they are on my list. However, this video has done more than enough to convince me to listen to them, and the hilarity of "leader" Jokwon's "English" skills has amused me endlessly.
I know I need help. I send clips and songs to my friends (namely one in particular, who we shall call from here on out The K-Pop Junkie) and they look at me as if I'm insane. And I can acknowledge why they think that. Hello, I am a white girl in love with Korean pop, completely and one-hundred percent addicted to it. It is my heroin, my alcohol. I need it like a crack junkie needs their next fix. American music just doesn't do it for me anymore, folks.
And it's not a serious addiction or anything that is hazardous to my health. Nothing like that. But when I catch and stop myself from answering "yes" in Korean (pronounced, "Ye," or "Ne") when my first language is English, that is a major problem.
Yours,
The K-Pop Addict
