Get the Fuck Over It, Hottests
Dear Hottests,
Jay is gone. Your "leadja" is not returning to 2PM. There will be six members to the group. 7 - 1 does not equal 0, it equals six. A six-membered 2PM does not make them 6PM. Jay is in America. He is home, where he belongs. Boycotting does nothing. Making threats to kill yourself in front of the JYPE building does nothing but make you look like an idiot.
Get the fuck over it and move on.
I will be the first to admit that I would love to see Jay back in the group, but I have also stated from day one that I didn't believe he'd be back anytime soon, if he came back at all. BECAUSE THIS IS THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT MAKING MONEY.
Honestly, Jay fucked up. He did. Was it right for all of South Korea to react the way they did? No, absolutely not. But it still doesn't change the fact that he fucked up. Twice, according to the JYPE official statement. I don't know what Jay did, nor do I care. If it's as horrible as everyone is making it out to be, why the hell would you want to know that?
Why are you demanding that what he did be released to the public? You keep saying Hottests deserve to know ... actually, you don't deserve to know. Because that is personal. That is something that impacts Jay's life, Junsu's life, Junho's life, Wooyoung's life, Nichkhun's life, Taekyeon's life, and Chansung's life directly. IT DOES NOT IMPACT YOU. IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
And even if they did release the reason, how could YOU be so selfish in demanding that? Yeah, that's right. It's selfish of you to demand it. Have you ever thought about what EXACTLY it could be? Have you ever thought that if it is so bad that no one can speak of it, that it could very well DESTROY Jay's life? Are you all really that selfish that you need to satisfy yourself, give yourselves peace of mind rather than hope and pray that whatever it is Jay did will not harm his NEW life in America? If you're all so interested in protecting "Leadja," then shouldn't you be demanding NOT to have this reason released?
Also, this boycott is the stupidest thing ever. Don't listen to them. Go ahead. A six-membered 2PM has actually been doing fine without Jay. You know why? Because they're talented and because rational people recognize that even though they are one less member, their talent has not changed. But go ahead and turn your backs on the men you once loved and obsessed over. Way to claim to be a Hottest.

Because they have been doing fine without him, and because they have to worry about THEMSELVES and their families and their lives and their futures. I just have to also mention that I heard some people actually talking about committing suicide outside of the JYPE building. I hope that is just a rumor, and nothing serious, because that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. You're really going to end your life because Jay is not coming back to 2PM? Okay, great. Make ALL SEVEN men live in guilt for the rest of their lives because you're a fucking dumbass.
I will support 2PM. 2PM consists of Junsu, Junho, Taekyeon, Wooyoung, Nichkun, and Chansung. I will not boycott this nor will I sign any petitions against them, so don't bother asking me to even spread the word. With or without Jay, I support 2PM.
With that said, I will also support Jay in whatever he decides to do in life. If he somehow makes it here in the American music industry, I will support him. If he decides to stay out of the limelight and live a quiet life in Seattle, then I will support him. If you love him as much as you claim you do, you'd do the exact same thing.

Really, South Korea? REALLY?
I really am not understanding why that stick is shoved so far up your ass right now. Are you really investigating Kwon Ji-Yong and threatening him with jail time because of his solo concert performance? Do you understand how ridiculous that sounds?
True, some of the stage acts were not suitable for a young teenage audience. But didn't you already deem his album unsuitable for anyone under the legal age to listen to? So shouldn't you have taken more precaution when selling tickets and shouldn't you have enforced parental guardians to accompany anyone who even looked underage into the stadium that night?
Kwon Ji-Yong is a musical artist. He envisions things and makes them happen. He is one of the top entertainers in your country, in the world, bringing you money from overseas. And yet this is how you thank him? By creating laws that inhibit an entertainer from having any amount of freedom in the form of a personal life, and protecting the record companies, and then completely disregarding the fact that not only is he an entertainer that makes you money, he's a human being.
I really don't believe that this has anything to do with the "unsuitable material" displayed at his solo concert. Entertainers have done crazier things before him and have only received verbal criticism. Lady Gaga at the VMAs this past fall faked her own suicide on stage. Did you see the American police threatening her with jail time? No. Even though it was broadcasted on national television, and no doubt there were "young teenagers" watching, legal action was not threatened.
The famous Super Bowl incident, where Justin Timberlake ripped off a piece of Janet Jackson's clothing, revealing her nipple ... yes, there were fines from the FCC for not having the proper time delay during a live performance and fines for multiple other things ... but neither of them, nor the network producers, nor the MTV producers in charge of running the show were threatened with jail time.
As I said, it has nothing to do with the material of the performance. This all reverts back to that group of people we've all come to know as Netizens.
They sharpen their claws, they attack, they bitch and moan and complain about anything and everything. They are a group of people who spend their lives on the internet, typing out ridiculous and hateful things. You're listening to these people. Netizens are saying jump, and you, South Korean government, you're answering, "How high?"
Since when does a government accept heat and criticism from a bunch of teenagers or young adults in the form of internet commentary? It's absolutely mind-blowing how it was all acting, it was all for the sake of art ... and yet some people have the audacity to shred it to pieces. You're shredding his creativity to pieces. By placing all the blame on him, by reprimanding him, you're limiting his future self-expression, his future projects, his future revenue. And that really does seem to be all you care about, right? Making money off your faithful, devoted citizens?
There's also the comments from "parents" floating around that it was not something they wanted their child seeing. I'm sorry, but don't they speak Korean? Haven't they heard the lyrics before they purchased tickets or accompanied their children to the concert? Haven't they read a newspaper or watched TV and shouldn't they have known that his album was labeled not suitable for minors and that if he wasn't allowed to perform certain songs on television, then more than likely his live performance would include something "not suitable?" That just makes sense to me.
Kwon Ji-Yong is a gifted artist. He's creative and he's driven and he has not stopped working since he was thirteen-years-old. He gave up having a normal life to pursue a dream, and you're doing everything you can to crush that dream. I really hope you feel proud of that, feel proud of taking an issue that a group of bitter internet users blew extremely out of proportion and running with it, making it unnecessary and absolutely pointless.

You know who you are. And I know you're reading this.
I just want to take the time to thank you for helping out in making T.O.P a trending topic. The support you gave me on such a last minute, short notice was really just a tiny bit of weight lifted off my shoulders. And when you retweeted the link, helping spread the word, it was such a relief knowing that an influential, major BIGBANG fan site such as yours was on board with this. Because with as much traffic that no doubt flows in and out of your site on a daily basis, the word would surely spread. I also want to thank you for tweeting with all of us non-stop, like the world was about to end if we didn't put him in the top ten. Your dedication to T.O.P and to BIGBANG is amazing. To the whole YG family, actually.

The lack of support you gave me on such a last minute, short notice was really just more weight piled onto my shoulders. And it's sad that an influential, major BIGBANG fan site such as yours blatantly ignored a chance to help out, to retweet the link, to help spread the word, to support the boys you say you love. Because since you are a BIGBANG fan site, it makes sense that you'd help out, right? That's just common sense. I also want to thank you for tweeting and contributing only when T.O.P broke the top ten, and even then your tweets sucked and were lacking in numbers. Your dedication to T.O.P and to BIGBANG is amazing. Moreso to other members of the YG family, actually.
I tried letting this go and saying, "Maybe they missed the email I sent." No, you didn't miss it, because you congratulated me on Twitter after he fell out of the top ten. I can't even call it that because it was filled with such sarcasm and disdain. You knew that I was organizing it, I know you saw all the retweets and saw people spreading the word. So even if you did miss the email, one would think, "Hey, maybe I should get on board with this and help out in any way I can?"
No, that didn't happen. The sad thing is that even when I was in the middle of emailing you, I knew you'd ignore me. I don't know why you don't like me, but you don't. Maybe it's because I talk about your boy too much for your liking, maybe it's because I'm a white girl who listens to K-Pop, maybe it's because I'm actually nice to the people who read my blog and comment ... who knows?

Kangin, What is Going On?
I am being completely serious in this post, as there is nothing remotely humorous about this situation.
Dear Kim Youngwoon,
I don't know you personally, but that doesn't stop my heart from feeling so heavy with emotion. The situation you've found yourself in is horrible, no matter whom you are, famous or not.
People make mistakes on a daily basis, but the severity of those mistakes varies with the individual. It’s disappointing that yours is more severe than most others. It’s hard to make excuses for what you did, because there is no excuse. There is no excuse for driving while intoxicated.
Someone very close to me, someone who I love and who is an important fixture in my daily life, was nearly killed due to someone who had been driving under the influence of narcotics and alcohol. Their accident was tragic, as both vehicles were mangled pieces of metal, my loved one’s friend placed in critical condition, and the intoxicated person, sadly, did not survive. My loved one was very fortunate, having God and guardian angels on his side, as he was left with only an injured knee and cuts from shards of glass.
While your accident was nowhere near this horrific, it could have been. Getting behind the steering wheel with that much alcohol in your system was stupid. Running away after the accident, fleeing the scene, was even more stupid. You put others lives at risk, as well as your own.
I still love you and I will still support you, because I know that in these types of situations, the person who caused the incident needs support as well. I don’t support your actions; I can’t because of personal reasons. But I will continue support you through this time. People will no doubt begin to criticize you mercilessly, and you will receive a lot of backlash. Yet you’ll always have the support of your fans.
You know you made a vast error in judgment and you know that now you have to face the consequences of your actions. I believe in your apology that you are sincere, and I know that you’re hurting on the inside for letting all of those who love you down. While it’s heartbreaking to most of us, the most important thing is that you and the others involved are safe and healthy.

Before reading this entry, you should probably check out the first blog I wrote in regards to him. This will make a lot more sense.
Dear Kwon Ji-Yong,
I am writing this to inform you that you win. You win, damn it. I'm not going to fight it anymore.
I tried so hard to keep you in my "rainy day" box, shunning you to the deepest depths of my mind. Yet you somehow snuck out of the abyss, hitting me with such a force, wherein it truly makes me believe I never even had a chance when it came to you.
Your songs have been stuck in my head for the past five days. Yes, five days. It doesn't matter what else I listen to, you're still there. Your sex voice is like an orgasm to my ears, and I cannot listen to "Breathe" without cursing your name. Why did you have to say, "I know you want it, baby," Ji-Yong? Did you realize that it would send dirty-minded girls, like me, into a total state of baby-making-mood? I think you did realize it when you wrote it, and I think you get some sort of sick pleasure from the whole thing. You're quite dirty-minded yourself, love.
I tried fighting the attraction I felt toward you, toward you and your male-Korean-Lady Gaga ways that you ever so proudly flaunted in "Heartbreaker." I tried resisting the urge, the need within me, to look past your platinum, bleached hair. I am a firm believer that Asian men should never ever EVER have blonde hair ... but you seem to be the only exception. I am fully accepting of your insanely-bright-hair-color. It puzzles me endlessly, and I am convinced that if you were to ever return to your natural, dark roots, your sex appeal would diminish. Secretly, I want you to keep the blonde. I cannot handle your perfectly-accented-English. Really, I didn't stand a chance against you. I shouldn't have even listened to your songs to begin with, I should have said no. Just like I would say if I were being offered drugs. Because you are a drug, Ji. I was already addicted to K-Pop, working on overcoming it. Congratulations, you single handedly destroyed that goal.
If I sound bitter, it's because I am. I have such a dislike toward you, but at the same time, I am totally in love with you and your bizarre, unexplainable power over me. It is a love-hate relationship that I feel toward you.
I love you when you say amazing things in your songs, lyrics that make me wish that I was born a Korean citizen so I would be living in South Korea and I could stalk you and obsess over you properly, rather than doing it from half a world away. But I hate it when your words repeat over and over in my head throughout the day, literally driving me insane and taking over my mind.
