RE: Get the Fuck Over It, Hottests

The blog post I did the other day has attracted a lot of attention. I'm glad that majority of you who read it [and commented] seemed to generally agree with most [if not all] of the things that I had written.

I wanted to ignore these comments, but I feel like they need to be addressed for one reason or another.

Hey, by the way, have any of you noticed the disclaimer on the side of the blog?

I am a very nice person and I promise you that I will never criticize or mock you for voicing your opinion. As long as you respect me, respect those who comment, and most importantly as long as you respect the hardworking male idols, I will respect you.

With that in mind, I will not criticize these people for leaving a negative comment about me or other fans or 2PM. I actually give them props for leaving one, when their opinion on the blog was the minority. But, you see that last segment there? The one I took the liberty of making boldface?

LOL just another mindless supporter who thinks 6pm cares. Face the facts, 6pm DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR FUCKEN FANS. They spat in their face and mocked and laughed at them. You're just another one of those dumbasses without any dignity to keep supporting them. They're not entertainers, they're monsters. Why don't you get the fuck over it and get a brain.

I am curious to know why you believe they don't care about their fans? Have they really mocked and laughed at you Hottests? I mean out right and directly laughed at you all, or is that just another little conspiracy theory you believe? You should probably know what the word "dignity" means, because I don't see how continuing to support a talented group of entertainers makes me less dignified. They are entertainers. That's what they are, that is their profession. This is their livelihood. Why don't you age a few more years, enter the "real world" and do "adult-like things," and then put yourself in their shoes?

 So because your precious Jay is no longer in the group, the rest of them are desperate for limelight and camera whores? Wouldn't they always be like that, with or without him? I'm assuming that they would be, because one less member doesn't change that fact. With that being said, why would you have supported them to begin with? Obviously they aren't like that if you associated yourself with their fandom.

I don't hate you, but I certainly don't think that you are right either. It's great that you have an opinion. But your opinion isn't absolute, you may have your reasons, but the other side has just as solid as a reason. Do not use extreme korean fan to represent the majority, we're not all going to commit suicide outside of the the JYPE building. Some of us are just hurt about what happened. Don't talk to us like we're morons.

I never claimed to be right. I simply stated my opinion. I don't see how it's okay for everyone else to shove their opinion down everyone else's throats when it comes to no longer supporting 2PM, yet I cannot write about how ridiculous I believe everyone is acting. I never said my opinion was absolute, either. Opinions are not absolute, they are simply a judgment or personal view on a certain situation. I am curious, though, to know what these "solid" reasons may be, and if you would like to email me or point me in the direction of someone who'd be willing to talk to me in a rational manner, I'd be more than happy to listen.

But if all I hear is bull crap that 2OD and Insider2PM keep spinning, then there is no reason for me to listen. And that is what I keep hearing. I keep hearing various forms of what they're saying, and no one is thinking for themselves. And did I actually say all of you were going to commit suicide? Did I write that? No, I didn't, so please do not misinterpret what I said. I addressed that as a dumb rumor, and in no way did I apply that to all of the Hottests.

I understand you being hurt, but at the same time, you also have to realize that there is nothing that can be done about it.

Interesting post. Seriously. I myself don't like unhonestly and selfish people. I don't like people pretending brotherhood and don't act so. Only live for money and fame? What a poor life. You said money makes the world go around-a western sight of the world. And 'Idols' that think little of their fans don't deserve my money.

 You deleted your comment, but I found you anyway. I don't understand how they are being selfish. Because they are concerned for their families and their futures. You have to remember that these men have been training since they were kids. They have nothing else, all of their life they have been in that mindset of being an entertainer. It's not like they became lucky and landed a record deal. They've been working hard to get where they are now, so how on Earth is it selfish for them to want to protect that? According to what Nichkhun said at the press conference, he's talked to Jay, and Jay seems happy. Brotherhood is not only sticking up for one another, but it's also about supporting each other no matter what they decide to do. I did not say anything about money making the world go around, thank you for twisting my words around. I said that the music industry in itself only focuses on making money, because it is a business. Businesses need to think about how to make money, make more money, keep a steady flow of money, in order to sustain and survive in the global economy. If they cannot do that, then there is no business. It is not a "Western sight of the world," and I just have to say fuck you for that little swipe at Americans.

I'm not even going to refer to you by your TKPA nickname. I'm pissed at you. I almost didn't even want to post your damn picture, but you're too damn fine not to marvel over.

That's beside the point.

What the hell is this news I'm hearing that you ripped off your shirt and exposed your abs for a girl who is not me? That is like an immense slap in the face! Seriously, that shit isn't even tolerated, Taekyeon. Not at all. Because it was me who demanded that more Hottests and other K-Pop fans put the word "sexy" in front of your "Beast Taekyeon" nickname. It was me who has made countless K-Pop fans drool over you and want you to RIP YOUR CLOTHES OFF on a nightly basis. It was also me who said that you'd totally bust our headboards and also probably bust a damn hole in the wall because of your excessive force.

AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME? By showing your abs, by acting all pure, raw, angry-sex for another woman? Seriously?

Fuck you, Taekyeon. I'm not going to write about you for a week as your punishment. I know my normal punishments involve you being sent and confined to my bedroom, but you crossed the line.

You Did It!

Yesterday was quite possibly one of the longest days of my life. I was so excited for midnight to finally come around, but truthfully I was so sick to my stomach with nerves. Maybe the Taco Bell I ate last night has a contributing factor to that I-really-want-to-puke-endlessly feeling, but I was very worried that despite the efforts to spread the word, it was going to be a huge F-A-I-L moment.

And I probably would've cried if it did fail. Well, not really ... but you get the idea.

This all started Sunday at one in the morning. I was talking to one of the admins at @twelfs when we jokingly suggested making #teukslaugh a trending topic. That's when I thought, "Why not do one for T.O.P?"

I put some feelers out on Twitter to see if anyone would be up for doing it, and all it took was three people to tell me yes. THREE PEOPLE. My mind is so easily swayed when it comes to T.O.P.

So I wrote a post and soon it was being retweeted like crazy. I felt so bad for shoving it down your throats like I did, constantly filling up your home page with my begging and pleading and general obnoxiousness. I felt bad doing it, but because it was such short notice, it had to be done.

I reached out to multiple, influential K-Pop forces. A major, major, MAJOR thank you goes out to @twelfs, @aa_chan, @AsianPopAddict, @Music4urSoul, @JaySkyMsg, @elosoul, @TeamBIGBANG, @alwaystaeyang, @BBVIPForum, @Vip_Access, @icecapades, @fangirltainment, @iBigBang, @projecthottest, and @KromeRadio. Thank you all so much for spreading the word!

I sent an email to a few other sites and sadly received no response. One ignored me while some of them were just too big and probably receive a lot of spam on a daily basis, so it was easily passed over. It's okay, though, enough people retweeted the link and spread the word without their help!

When it started ... I was nervous that it wasn't going to work. Within the first minute over sixty people tweeted. Seriously, I stalked that page hardcore. I became really down, though, when it had been going on for forty-five minutes and the tweets were starting to dwindle in numbers by the minute. I told The K-Pop Junkie that I didn't think it was going to trend.

Not more than ten minutes later, it appeared, in all its glory, second to the bottom of the trending topics list!

I swear, I began smiling and grinning like an idiot. And every time it increased in the ranks, I became even more excited. I wanted to cry from being so happy at pulling this off.

When he reached number four, I almost lost my damn mind.

A lot of people are telling the VIPs congratulations on making #happybdaytop a trending topic, but the truth is that the ELFs, the Hottests, and the Cassies helped out making this successful. And that's so overwhelming to me that different fandoms are coming together to support a K-Pop artist.

You all are amazing and you never cease to amaze me with all of the things that you accomplish for your idols!

Yes, I did suggest we do this, but trending #happybdaytop was something that YOU ALL did. I was just the annoying little gnat that keeps buzzing in your ear, reminding you of it.

So to every single person who retweeted the link, who helped spread the word, who gave me your support, who trended like crazy, who gave up a few hours of sleep to trend like crazy ...

Really, I'm going to get all sentimental now ... but I've only been blogging for about a month and a half now. So the support you've all shown me the past few days is amazing and it tugs at my heartstrings. Thank you all for reading and commenting and for talking to me via Twitter. It's been a great month and a half so far, so here's to the next many, many months to come!

Leave Jay Park Alone

I have been wanting to say this for a very long time, but because I honestly do fear the wrath of pissed off Hottests, I've kept my mouth shut and fingers silenced.

While I do support the efforts made by Hottests internationally to bring attention to their departed leader, and I think what they've done is so overwhelming and cannot be described in a few simple phrases, and while I still believe that if the Hottests wanted to solve world hunger, they could ... I can't help but think that it's just time to let go.

Not give up hope, but just let go.

There are many factors surrounding the situation that we do not know about, that we will never know about. The music industry is a very dirty business, filled with politics and men wanting to become even richer than they already are. The whole situation with Jay leaving South Korea and JYP being blamed is being portrayed as black and white.

Jay is the victim, JYP is the villain. Case closed.

There are a lot of gray areas, though, along with a lot of conspiracy theories. We will never know what truly happened, what conversations Jay had with JYP before leaving South Korea, what conversations he had with him after he left. We'll never know what went through Jay's thoughts, what he is feeling right now about this whole ordeal.

Like I said, I respect the Hottests and all of their efforts. You guys have accomplished and organized extraordinary things. However, spamming JYP's Twitter account and telling him that he should rot in Hell is extreme, unnecessary, and offensive. Would you like it if someone told you to rot in Hell? No, you wouldn't. And you especially wouldn't like it if people from all over the world were saying that to you. Also, creating a Twitter account called "followmeGorilla" is more sad than humerous. It's sad that you guys have accomplished so much in a mature manner, yet a few of you have taken it upon yourselves to revert back to being twelve-years-old.

I thought Hottests were all about "Love and Respect?" That's not very loving and that is extremely disrespectful. I know you're all better than that.

We all know you want Jay back as leader to 2PM. I want that too, honestly. I really do want to see him with Junsu, Wooyoung, Nichkhun, Taekyeon, Junho, and Chansung, on stage once again. That's where he belongs.

But you can't rush this situation. There are still many people who are angry and upset over what he said four years ago. It should have never escalated and resulted to this from the start, but unfortunately it did. Jay made a mistake and eventually all mistakes are forgiven. I just feel like there needs to be time. Time for the anger to subside, time for the issue to be forgotten about.

When it is time for Jay to come back, he'll come back. He isn't ready, though. And you have to respect his decision.

KBS traveled to Seattle in hopes to get an interview with him. They basically stalked him around the city, talking to the local Korean-Americans, talking to his neighbors, showing up at a place where his younger brother is known to hang out with friends, talking to his friends, and showing up at the same place as Jay and shoving a camera in his face.

His brother even said, "He stays home a lot." Meaning that during one of the very few times Jay decided to live a normal life -- a life he used to live, a life that cannot be given to him in South Korea -- he was denied that and quickly left. I know you've all seen the footage (if not, it's here), but did you see how at peace he looked when he first showed up to the dance battle? Did you see how happy he was to just be with his friends, be with people who are not screaming his name, who are not fawning over him?

He was not Jaebeom, the leader of 2PM. He was Jay Park, the Korean-American, Seattle native, being like any other twenty-two-year-old and hanging out with his friends.

And that was ruined once he saw the camera. He was tense, he didn't want to be there anymore. He tried enjoying one night of normalcy, one night of being JAY PARK, but he wasn't able to. He left just as quickly as he arrived.

I honestly do think he needs to be left alone. He will not forget how much you love him, how much you want him to return. He knows. I love Jay and I wish him the best in whatever he does in life, whether it be with 2PM or if it's without them. Either way, whatever happens and whatever he decides to do in the future, Jay just needs to be left alone.

I'm not saying that you should stop assembling flash mobs or stop sending him things, that you should give up hope that he'll return. I'm just saying to lighten the efforts just a bit, because the more you do, the more the Korean media stays focused on it, and the more the issue stays in everyone's mind.

The only way he will come back is when this issue's negativity is forgotten.

Can you tell me what's missing from this picture of the end of 2PM's performance of "Again and Again" at last night's Dream Concert?

Of course you can. It's very hard not to notice. There's just a big, gaping hole right in the middle that can only be filled by eight pack abs belonging to a certain Korean-American.

Hottests, you need to fix that nickname, ASAP. This man deserves to have his proper title in the K-Pop world. And as part of my contribution to the wonderful-and-totally-worth-it cause, from here on out, I will only refer to Taekyeon as: Sexy Beast Taek. (Abbreviated to SBT when my fingers feel like falling off due to typing excessive amounts).

Seriously, if you Hottests can assemble flash mobs and unite internationally to show Park Jaebeom your love/support, you can definitely band together to change his nickname into something ten times more suitable for the overly sexed up 2PM rapper.

I know I said that I wasn't going to post about Park Jaebeom any more, unless one of three things happened. This is too juicy not to talk about, so I just had to do a post on it. (I can justify almost anything. It's a gift).

Seriously, if I was Jay, I probably would've cried seeing this.

Congrats to all of the Hottests who successfully pulled this off. I really don't think I've ever seen a group of fans this dedicated. It's truly an overwhelming sight, and I know that right now in Seattle, your beloved 2PM leader is feeling all of your love. And pretty much all of Seattle is feeling it too.

Next I think you need to fly a banner over NYC or wherever the hell JYP is currently at and tell him what a douchbag he is. I kid, I kid.

Park Jaebeom, I Love You. And by Love, I Mean “Obsess Infinite Amounts Over.”

I wish the whole ordeal of former 2PM member, Jaebeom, never happened. Because not only is this guy no longer granting us all the privilege of hearing his gorgeous voice, but he is one less pretty (and muscular) Korean for me to look at. That should be a good thing, seeing as how I’m supposed to be overcoming my addiction to K-Pop (who am I kidding with that, anyway?!). It definitely is not a good thing, though.

So, I’m writing this as my one and only blog entry to get my obsession out of my system, because I can no longer afford to ogle over someone that I cannot see perform as the leader of 2PM. And I know that the Hottest (the official name for 2PM fans) are protesting and boycotting events of the now six member group until their precious leader is restored to his rightful place, but I honestly do not see that happening any time soon. Not trying to put a downer on all of you Hottest out there, but realistically speaking, unless your boy and Park Jin-young (CEO and founder of JYP Entertainment) work out the whole sticky situation, then Jaebeom will more than likely stay in America.

Which sucks for all of you in Asia (and everywhere else in the globe), but it is quite a happy thought for those fans who reside in the States. Honestly, I think that if he is still under contract with JYPE, then he needs to get out of it and focus on making a name for himself here in America. He’ll do exceptionally better in the American market than he ever would have just staying within the Asian countries. Not just here, domestically, but internationally as well. How many major musicians and actors and actresses that are internationally known are American? The answer is a lot. Because we pimp our citizens out hardcore, treating them like high-class whores.

And Jaebeom, darling … you are an American-born citizen. Embrace the whoring out of your American career.

Your hip dips put Cristiano Ronaldo to shame.

The controversy revolving around Park Jaebeom (or shall I call him Jay Park since he’s now back home in America?) stems from a silly MySpace comment he left when he first traveled to South Korea to become a trainee for JYPE—four years ago! The American teenager told a friend, “I hate Korea. Koreans are gay.” Which, in the States, that might not seem like such a bad thing, seeing as how it’s common teenager slang to refer to something that is dumb (not that teenagers referring to something as “gay” is okay, because it does offend homosexuals and it should never be used in a negative manner). But when that’s literally translated into Korean … holy cow, it’s like the ultimate Yo Mama joke.

People made a huge deal out of nothing, out of a cultural and linguistic misunderstanding, and in fear of possible backlash against the entire group, Jaebeom did the correct thing (in my honest opinion) and left the group. Hundreds of fans went to the airport to beg him not to get on the plane to go back home, but what they don’t understand is what could have happened if he stayed. And they also don’t understand that while their intentions of boycotting in hopes to get Jaebeom's and JYPE's attention and to call for his return to South Korea are noble, and the amazing unity that has occurred between Hottest all over the globe, their efforts are pointless. It’s about politics, folks.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely and one-hundred percent want him to remain active in the music industry, but I don’t think it will be with 2PM, and if it is with 2PM, it will not be any time soon. Enough of all that, though.

Jaebeom is lovable for a lot of reasons.

One, looking at him, I can’t help but think dirty thoughts. Two, I really want to lick chocolate syrup or whip cream off of his abs. Hell, I am even willing to eat kimchi off of his body, and that is saying a lot because I cannot stomach the smell of Korea’s beloved dish. I just can’t.

Does this really need a witty caption?

Jaebeom’s dance moves are insane. I could dedicate a whole blog post to his dance ability, but I won’t do that because, again, this will be my one and only post regarding him and my obsession of him. But, for a little teaser, just a quick taste of the sick moves, here are a few links I highly recommend. I suggest you either: clear the surrounding area free of furniture, as seeing him will make you want to attempt his flawless movements, or keep some Kleenex nearby, because ladies you will need to wipe the slight drool that will escape your mouth. (The last video has made me a firm believer that Jaebeom is an absolute dirty freak in the bedroom. If you don't find it temperature-rising-sexy, then please let me know where you are located so I can call the nearest mental health facility and have you checked in).

Until Jaebeom either: A. returns to 2PM and remains the leader, B. embarks on a solo career here in America (unlikely, but my deep wishful thinking), or C. something incredibly juicy happens in regards to the current crap-hole of a situation, I will not obsess over him further nor write about him in detail, other than the occasional mention and link back to this post. It’s too devastating and heartbreaking for me to deal with.

Park Jaebeom, in the highly unlikely chance you will ever read this (still, have to put it as a precautionary thing so I don’t get put on an international stalker’s list or something), know that whatever you do, there will be millions of people around the world, supporting you. You are a super talented guy, and even though times might be dark right now, your future is indeed bright. Hang in there, lovely. Oh, and I also love you.

Yeah, definitely going to be on that list.
